Configuration โ†’ Cultivation rooms โ†’ Add a room

Room information

Name Room identifier (e.g., 'Greenhouse A', 'Incubation room 1', 'Fruiting tunnel')
Type Incubation, Fruiting, Mixed or Storage
Surface area (mยฒ) Useful room surface to calculate density
Maximum capacity Maximum number of bags the room can accommodate simultaneously

Room types

Each room type corresponds to a specific phase of the mushroom cultivation cycle.

Example configuration

1

Incubation chamber

Name Incubation room 1
Type Incubation
Surface area 12 mยฒ
Capacity 200 bags
2

Fruiting greenhouse

Name Greenhouse A - Fruiting
Type Fruiting
Surface area 25 mยฒ
Capacity 150 bags
3

Cold room

Name Cold room
Type Storage
Surface area 6 mยฒ
Capacity 50 mycelium bags

Best practices

Organization advice
  • Physically separate incubation and fruiting to better control conditions
  • Allow for 15-20% extra capacity to absorb production peaks
  • Name your rooms clearly and consistently (e.g., INC-01, FRUC-A, STOCK-01)
  • Fill in the real capacity, not theoretical, to avoid overloading
Attention

Once a batch is assigned to a room, you can no longer modify the room type. Think carefully about your organization before creating your batches.

Usage in MycoGest

Once your rooms are configured, you will be able to:

  • Assign each new batch to a specific room
  • Visualize room occupancy in real time
  • Track batch movements between rooms (incubation โ†’ fruiting)
  • Analyze productivity by room
  • Detect overloads and optimize rotation
